ABOUT ME
With years of experience working with families, I am now dedicated to helping children have restful and happy sleep
Hi, I’m Liane, Mum of two boys and I have worked with children and families for more than 14 years.
I began my career studying Early Years Development and Education before undertaking a Primary Post Graduate Certificate in Education, working across schools in South Wales, including with special educational needs and as behavioural support. I went on to study an MSc in Play Therapy for three years, supporting children and their families working through various traumatic experiences such as abuse, neglect and bereavement.
After having my two sons I further studied Level 6 Advanced Paediatric Sleep; an OCN London accredited course, through EDS training. This provided me with Masters level reading and research, and the understanding of how to keep secure attachment and responsive parenting approaches at the forefront of all sleep support.
I underestimated the impact of sleep deprivation as a new Mum whilst trying to look after my own health and wellbeing. I wanted to find responsive and supportive ways to care for my baby’s needs whilst also ensuring my family all got the sleep needed to function appropriately and happily.
I strive to help families achieve restful nights and happier days and am committed to fostering a nurturing environment where parents feel empowered to navigate the challenges of sleep with confidence and peace of mind, ultimately promoting the wellbeing and development of both parents and children.
